The Gingerbread Extravaganza Experience
The 23rd annual event will include the traditional gingerbread exhibit at Old St. Andrew’s Church, as well as a holiday gift shop, and a short tour of the Merrill House Museum. Don’t miss Kids Day, Saturday, December 13, 2025. Photo op with Santa Claus, scavenger hunt, and more! Enjoy Gingerbread by Candlelight: Thursday, December 18. Great for after-work date night; ticket includes two beverages.

Enter the Gingerbread display contest!
Join the fun and submit a display. Judges will vote for winners in Traditional, Fantasy, Historic, and Religious themes in several age categories. Yours could win Best in Show! The rules are simple: 1) The display must be 85% edible (by humans, animals or birds). 2) The display must be family-friendly.

Volunteer Opportunities
Help with decorating, admissions, gift shop, Kids Day event. Be a museum tour docent. We also need help with event tear-down. Flexible days/times available. Great opportunity for community service hours.
