How will you commemorate 200 years?
Celebrating the Jacksonville Bicentennial in 2022 will take many shapes and forms. From planned public events to bicentennial co-branded races, tournaments, galas, historical tours and more, there’s also opportunity to share personal stories of family histories that reach back decades or a century-plus.
As Jacksonville’s gift to its future citizens, the Jacksonville Historical Society will undertake to publish a collection of oral histories and other family stories, including thoughts about Jacksonville’s future.
