Jumbo Shrimp Salute to the Negro Leagues Game and Exhibit
Saturday, June 7, 2025, 5-6:30 p.m. exhibit; 6:35 p.m. ballgame
Old St. Andrew’s Church, 317 A Philip Randolph Blvd.
Join the Jacksonville History Center, Durkeeville Historical Society, and the Jumbo Shrimp for a salute to the Negro Leagues on Saturday, June 7. Before the team takes the field as the Jax Red Caps, visit a display inside Old St. Andrew’s Church, 5:00-6:30 p.m. Tickets include admission to the game, light snacks and beverages (including beer and wine); $20/person. Merchandise raffle $5/ticket. There is no parking onsite. Lots P and Z are popular parking lots for ballgames. Click here to purchase tickets.
Ballgame tickets will be given to event ticketholder upon admission to the exhibit at Old St. Andrew’s Church. Raffle tickets for baseball merchandise available online, at the exhibit; cash, credit card or PayPal/Venmo accepted. Winning ticket will be drawn after the game and winner will be contacted by phone and/or email next business day.

Jacksonville History Fair
Saturday, June 14, 2025, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Jacksonville History Center, 314 Palmetto Street
The 3rd Annual Jacksonville History Fair will include displays by Northeast Florida history organizations, as well as cars from the First Coast Region Model A Club. Enjoy short presentations throughout the day. Peruse the book sale; bring a bag and fill it for $15. Need a snack? The About Time food truck will be on site.
Tickets at the door; no advance sales; $10/person includes a raffle ticket for items donated by the participating organizations. Parking available on site and along Marsh Street.
