The People’s Choice Award (drum roll, please) goes to Santa’s Magical Gingerbread Mansion by Kenda DeFord! This display garnered an overwhelming number of votes by nearly 5,000 visitors to the 20th Annual Gingerbread Extravaganza. Thank you to our 24 sponsors (including Tom Bush Family of Dealerships, VyStar Credit Union, Jaguars Foundation, 1st Downtown Jacksonville, and the Delores Barr Weaver Forever Event Fund), and 40 exhibitors, who made this one of our best events ever. We are grateful for the decorating talents of the Junior League of Jacksonville, who decked out 15 gorgeous trees, and for the Rotary Club of South Jacksonville, who started this fundraising event in 2003 and continue to lend a hand each year.
Thank you, also, to 904 Happy Hour, Arbus Magazine, The Florida Times-Union I Jacksonville.com, and others who helped promote the 20th Annual Gingerbread Extravaganza, and to our staff and volunteers who worked the 15-day event tirelessly and with good cheer.
