The Jacksonville History Show
For nearly fifteen years, JHS has presented its own cable program, The Jacksonville History Show, on Cable Channel 99. Hosted by Executive Director Emily Rutherford Lisska and veteran broadcaster Harry Reagan, this fascinating monthly program features in-depth author interviews, “deep dives” on current exhibits and events of historical interest, timely architectural surveys, and news about community tours and events.
The most recent Jacksonville History Show, which airs June 10, featuring an interview Don Ritter, a longtime radio broadcaster in Jacksonville (Jones College Radio). Also, JHS Executive Director, Emily Lisska presents a preview of coming events at the Historical Society.
The show can be seen at 8:30 p.m. on June 10 on Comcast Ch. 99 and at various unscheduled times thereafter. Select shows are featured here, but you can find all past episodes–more than 150–on the Society’s YouTube Channel. We hope you’ll tune in!
