The Jacksonville History Show

TVFor nearly fifteen years, JHS has presented its own cable program, The Jacksonville History Show, on Cable Channel 99. Hosted by Executive Director Emily Rutherford Lisska and veteran broadcasster Harry Reagan, this fascinating monthly program features in-depth author interviews, “deep dives” on current exhibits and events of historical interest, timely architectural surveys, and news about community tours and events.

The most recent Jacksonville History Show, which aired February 11th, 2015, celebrates The Ritz Theater. Also, the Mandarin Museum reports on the recent move of an historic schoolhouse.

The show can be seen at 8:30 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month, and at various unscheduled times thereafter. Select shows are featured here, but you can find all past episodes–more than 150–on the Society’s YouTube Channel. We hope you’ll tune in!
