The Jacksonville History Show

TVFor nearly fifteen years, JHS has presented its own cable program, The Jacksonville History Show, on Cable Channel 99. Hosted by Executive Director Emily Rutherford Lisska and veteran broadcaster Harry Reagan, this fascinating monthly program features in-depth author interviews, “deep dives” on current exhibits and events of historical interest, timely architectural surveys, and news about community tours and events.

The most recent Jacksonville History Show, which aired April 15, features an interview with Thomas Graham, author of Mr. Flagler’s St. Augustine, and a preview of the Riverside Avondale Preservation Tour of Homes taking place April 25th and 26th.

The show can be seen at 8:30 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month, and at various unscheduled times thereafter. Select shows are featured here, but you can find all past episodes–more than 150–on the Society’s YouTube Channel. We hope you’ll tune in!
